A british betting company has commissioned  designers to create a pair of shoes to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Cheltenham festival, which takes place at the race track.

The result is a pair of horseshoes that are made from an imitation of a hoof made from carbon fiber and 5.000 individual horse hairs.

The limited edition shoes goes on sale at the festival itself and the price tag is a whopping £1.300 which is about 2.200 USD

Betfair, which commissioned designers to produce the knee and ankle-length zip-up hoof shoes, says they are ‘the perfect accessory for racing fans who want to stand out from the crowd’.
