Finally – Our Livecast stream is working flawlessly now.
We tried a QTSS solution at first, but the streaming server added something to the stream that made the stream to hiccup and make funny noises. After a lot of agony and discussions with our ISP we decided to try out the classical solution, a Shoutcast Server, which is working perfect as the stream is totally glitch free.
We will use the stream for live shows and we will do one more test run during the upcoming weekend. The stream will be providing music when there are no live shows on, so you can try it already now.
Type in 89.160.63.132 and port 8000 to tune into the stream in your favorite media player. Most media players want the address in the following format: 89.160.63.132:8000
