coupleAn article caught my attention. It’s about couple going to get married and how they by wedding gifts and explore their sexual fantasies.

The air of innocence surrounding the couples is charming, but it also made me think about a couple of things.

It is so easy when you are living inside of BDSM to take it for granted and it is so easy to think that everyone knows what it is and accepts it. I myself tend to forget that there are countries in which BDSM is illegal.

Not everyone accepts BDSM as a lifestyle or sexual expression and I can understand that – The unknown usually creates a fear and lack of understanding. But even if you understand what BDSM is, then it is in your right to not accept it as a phenomena, lifestyle or sexual expression.

On the other hand; There is a big difference between rejecting BDSM as an activity or rejecting the people living it. No one should of course be rejected due to their ethnic belonging or sexual orientation; In the best of worlds.

The small article over in Hindustan Times gives me some hope as the newly wedded couples investigate their sexual fantasies with a slight touch of BDSM.
