The psychological element is important within BDSM and a lot of things can be done with ordinary everyday things you have around you. A hairbrush can be used for spanking, both sides of it of course. A clothing pin can be used as a rudimentry nipple clamp. Most of these things inflict a fair level of pain or a tactile sensation, and together with the feeling of anticipation and uncertainty the sensation can be taken to new levels.
Now and then I travel across the web to find interesting new equipement to train my pet with and this is what I found on my last rounds – A cattle prod that is somewhere in between safe play and a fair level of discomfort. This one has definatly caught my attention and has been put on my shopping list.
What are you using as a tool for training? Give us some new ideas in the comments.
Ohhhh…this would be a DELIGHTFUL toy. I must look into getting one of these for my pet…
Hmm.. big hmmmm…. I was going to joke around saying i’d left the country after seeing this blog, but as this involves Real life…
Dominants having the control… naturally, but isn’t it procedure to present the idea to the sub to see if it is for them?… even if you know your sub *as my Master does* would you just do it anyway? but then doesn’t that cross your limits?
Or do you just take it you are the controllers…and you’re going to try it anyway?
so that goes to the expense of toys too? can you go and buy something and not know whether you’ll get it’s monies worth….?
Unless… you’ve gone for the cheap version, then i suppose it wouldnt matter?
What would a Dom/me get out of using this? Something i’d like to know… as they wouldn’t be feeling the zap would they?
Best training “tool”: orgasms. 🙂
Honestly, I’d be far more likely to use this as a punishment than anything else. The *low* setting would seem more than adequate to get my pet’s attention by zapping her butt cheek. And the *high* setting sounds downright painful. Quite delicious.
It should be noted that as with any electrical play, there are certain safety measures that should be taken. Nothing above the waist, is a good general point. You’re zapping your pet…not tazing them. Cardiac problems can pop up and it would be HORRIBLE for anyone to find out.
Just thought I would throw that out there….electrical stuff is fun, but play safe.
